Christmas Gift Ideas
As I've gotten older, I've started to really appreciate the gift giving / receiving aspect of Christmas. I have a type A personality & definitely fall under the perfectionist category. With that being said, I sometimes take picking out gifts too seriously. Will they like it? Is it the right size or color? Will they hate it? For me, I take gifts pretty personally. If a person knows me well, then they *should* know exactly what to get me. Right? I have this same mindset when it comes to giving gifts as well. I should know them enough to know exactly what to give them. Yikes. I need to work on that lol. But if you're anything like me & sometimes find it challenging to find a gift for someone, you've come to the right place! Below I'm going to share LOTS of ideas of things that I've asked for, or things that I've bought for someone this Christmas season.
for the guy in your life...
Honestly, shopping for my Dad & brother (& boyfriends of the past) sometimes feels so stinking hard! This year, I tried to remind myself not to overthink it & that it's okay if I get them something random.
This gift really doesn't need much of an explanation. I typically drink out of cans & absolutely love my Yeti coozie so I thought getting one for a bottle would be a great idea!

Okay I'm realizing that my choices in gifts for men make it seem like they're all alcoholics lol I promise you they're not! My extended family has a running inside joke about drinking beers in the shower. They even have a special name... "shower beers" & let me tell ya, shower beers taste better than regular beers. ;) Anyway, now that my brother is 21 & can participate, I thought this would be a funny gift for him because it references our family's inside joke!
for the girl in your life who deserves some self-care...
We all know at least one gal who is always on-the-go & deserves a little self-care or something just for her. These would be great options for new mamas, college students, healthcare workers, teachers, etc.
Apple watch bands are a really fun & affordable gift option. In the past when I've given this out as a gift, it's not something that the recipient would typically buy for themselves, but they love it once they have it!
This may seem like a strange & random gift idea, but these socks are truly some of my absolute favorites & same for my mom! She loves them so much that she's worn holes in them & needs replacements. They're super soft & thin enough that your feet don't get too hot. I love that they come in a set of neutral colors.
This year I decided to replace all of my makeup brushes because I'd been using the same ones for SO long. I got this set & loved the quality + the price! This is a great set to get for someone who's just starting out with makeup or even someone who needs help with what to use certain brushes for. I found this set on Amazon & if I’m being honest, it should be worth way more than $7.99!! The brushes are super soft & don’t shed at all! It even comes with a beauty blender, a cleaning tool, & a little guide on what to use each brush for.
Have y'all heard of tech neck? It's something I've just started hearing about recently where your neck / shoulders / upper back hurts from looking at your phone or computer screen too much. This little relaxer is supposed to help with that & relieve some of that built up tension.
Okay honestly, who doesn't need one of these in their lives? So nice for people who have pets because it easily picks up fur off of furnitures! I have one & it's been a game changer for my cat who loves my couch lol.
Etsy is one of my absolute favorite places to shop when I'm looking for personalized gifts. This little lavender + vanilla spa set is so perfect for the ladies in my life who love to take baths & enjoy some relaxation time.
If y'all have been around here long then you've probably seen this dainty gold initial necklace because I wear it with EVERYTHING! It's so simple & elegant that you can't go wrong with getting it for someone as a gift. I've used this for birthday gifts & even high school graduation gifts!
These personalized beaded bracelets have become super popular lately & I love them! They're obviously darling for a mom with the kids' names. But I ordered them & used the words "worthy", "enough", & "loved" because that's what I want the recipients to have a constant reminder of!

I'm a big believer that you can never have too many cups, tumblers, etc. I LOVE these so much that I ordered some for myself! They come in TONS of other color options, but I really liked this one just because it's simple & will easily go with anyone's style. They are 20 oz. & are glass so you know they'll be nice quality!
Okay I know this seems super random, but I've seen where people will crack an egg in here & put it on a small bagel with avocado & make it into a little sandwich. YUM! I just thought it was cute & fun & something different that someone might not think to buy for themselves.
Y'all this angry mama microwave steam cleaner is a straight up game changer. You add a mixture of vinegar & water & put it in the microwave & it literally makes all of the pops of food disappear! It's amazing!!!
