Korean Rice Bowls

Definitely not a food blogger & not going to pretend to be, ha! But we do have some go-to foods that I think are worth sharing & these Korean Rice Bowls are one of them. If Bethany is in charge of dinner, there is a pretty good chance this is what she'll be making! They are one of her very favorite things, plus they are super easy!

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced (we just use a big spoonful of the refrigerated kind)

  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce

  • 2 t. sesame oil

  • 1/4 t. ground ginger

  • 1/4 t. crushed red pepper flakes

  • 2 c. cooked white or brown rice

  • sliced green onions & sesame seeds for garnish

In a skillet, cook the ground beef & garlic together. Meanwhile in a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger & red pepper flakes. Pour over ground beef mixture & simmer a few minutes.

Serve over cooked rice & garnish with green onions & sesame seeds.

Hope you enjoy!
