Life Lately
what I've been up to...
Fun + colorful nails for my last few days of summer! Watch my short Instagram reel here.
I saw this on tiktok & knew I had to try it. & I’m so glad I did!!! It’s delish! Avocado egg toast with cottage cheese & hot honey.
Trying to go for some short walks even in my boot because I know Piper loves them so much.
Protein coffee for the win!
So happy to be back with my snuggly girl!
On the bookshelf the last two weeks!
A Sunday afternoon at the dog park makes for a happy Piper!
For those of you that have been following my smirnoff ice obsession lately, this green apple one is now also a top fav!
My mama got Piper an ice cream cup & I think it’s safe to say she liked it!
Snagged this new drink to try while grocery shopping at Target. It kind of tastes like sprite!
Monthly book club!
I love country Kansas sunsets.
Piper & I went back to work on Wednesday for enrollment + to start working on student schedules.
It was a LONG day, but Piper was a trooper & the goodest girl!
A quick block walk to start our morning before heading in to school for the day.
I love trying different drinks!
Poor Piper girl is pretty exhausted from going back to work this week lol
I got my labs drawn in ONE POKE!!! This is a miracle for me!
outfits of the week...
During the school year I did a pretty good job at consistently sharing my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet. However, because it’s summertime, sometimes I don’t even get dressed lol so I’ll share as much as I can, but it’s definitely not as big of a priority for me like during the school year.
in case you missed it...
Rice Family Summer Vacation 2025 — Missouri & Kentucky is in the books! Check out my blog post recapping the trip here.
If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, then you’ve probably noticed that I have really stepped up my game when it comes to collages of sales, outfit inspos & new items. Well, that is all thanks to my younger sisters, Bethany & Avery. They’re “poor college students” & my mom & I were looking for some extra help on the blog, so it just made sense to bring them on board! We’ll be compiling all of the collages into one post each week so that they’re all in one place & to give those who don’t use social media a place to find them! Check out their post by clicking here!
Next up is my Friday fashion favs post!! Click here to read that one. It’s a goodie if I do say so myself. ;)
