what I've been up to...

Piper says the Chiefs lost on Sunday bc I made her wear this hoodie. Sorry guys, my bad. I thought it was cute.

I did enjoy some homemade chili while watching the game, though.

Cheers to the last week before Christmas break!

Started off Monday morning with lab work & single stick treat for myself (only one poke is a really big deal for me)!!

Followed by helping backstage at the Christmas concert.

On the bookshelf this week!

De-winterizing my toes for the beach!

This hands-free leash has been an absolute game changer for our evening walks.

Another night of working high school JV basketball book.

College visit with some 8th graders this week. It was a small group, but we had a great time together!

Got invited to the food truck presentation from the 7th grade FACS class. Everything was delicious!

These turned out so cute!

Piper has been limping after our walks lately, so we went & saw a family friend who is a vet. She specializes in chiropractics & acupuncture. Piper was such a good girl & already feels so much better, so I obviously had to get her a sweet treat afterwards.

I got the cutest Christmas card in the mail this week!

outfits of the week...

I’ve started to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

I read four books in the month of November. Check out my blog post here to see my short reviews!

November was full of cozy finds, practical purchases, & a few fun extras. This post rounds up everything our family ordered from Amazon this month—what we loved, what we’re using daily, & a few things that made life a little easier. Click here to read!

In November, my parents spent time soaking up the coast in Galveston before heading back to Kansas to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. From travel adventures to thankful hearts, it was a sweet month on the road. Click here to read my mom’s recap post for the month of November.

Next up is my Friday fashion favs post!! Lots of cute outfits ranging from dressy to cute & casual to pajamas. Plus, a bunch of Christmas-themed things! YAY!!! Click here to read that one. It’s a goodie if I do say so myself. ;)
