For the past few months or so Iβve started *trying* to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! Iβm typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

First up is this red ribbed scrunchie. I love the texture & the color! It makes my lip color pop, too!
My sisters & I were together over the weekend & I thought what better way to show off some darling hair accessories than with my sisters! Avery (far left) has the pink ribbed scrunchie, I (middle) have the red ribbed scrunchie, & Bethany (right) has the purple velvet scrunchie. I also got this pink jumbo barette! Itβs so classy & effortless & keeps the hair out of your face while still looking cute! I put it in my sisterβs hair & she didnβt want to give it back lol! This barette is also $5 (not including my code) β what a deal!!!
friday favs...
For the past month or so Iβve been trying to really step up my skincare game, specifically by making sure that Iβm really cleaning it well. Iβve been using Colleen Rothschildβs radiant cleansing balm every night to get my makeup off. Then I cleanse with IT Cosmeticβs confidence in a cleanser. I wanted to take it a step further & get a facial scrubbing brush (the one I used for years from Vanity Planet broke last year & I never replaced it). I have heard tons of things about TAO Clean, specifically about their products that come with a UV-C light that kills 99.9% of germs. They offer facial scrubbing brushes & toothbrushes! Their site just so happened to be offering 60% off of their products when I was looking, so I snagged their ONA Diamond Facial Brush in black. I honestly donβt know if itβs really working its magic, but yβall, when I tell you that my face has never felt so good, Iβm being for real! Iβm still dealing with some breakouts & acne, but thatβs very normal, especially when you start really cleansing everything well β it brings all the gunk to the surface to get it out. But my face is shiny & glowing, even with the little bit of acne! Itβs amazing!! I donβt get any commission from TAO Clean, but thought it was worth sharing (if youβre interested, I would totally wait until thereβs a good sale going because otherwise their products are incredibly expensive). & I always finish off my face with my tried & true IT Cosmeticβs confidence in a cream.
I recently went on a hunt for the βperfect tan sneakerβ for school. I always wear my black mesh sneakers or my grey hey dudes, but I have nothing that matches tan tones besides mules, but Iβm always looking for comfy options. I found three styles from DSW & ordered them to try out. Iβm going to share all three in order from least favorite to favorite.
Letβs start with these. First impression I was super disappointed. Theyβre not at all the color that I thought they were going to be (tan / linen), theyβre more like a super light grey & theyβreβ¦ shiny. Yes, I said shiny. Maybe I didnβt pay good enough attention when I was ordering, but I donβt remember seeing that anywhere. I got a size 5, but theyβre incredibly tight & fit small. I honestly donβt think Iβd recommend these at all! Iβm super disappointed because I thought these were going to be my favs.
Next up are these. The color was exactly what I was looking for! Surprisingly, I actually like the βholeβ design on them. At first I thought it was a little much, but I actually really like all of the details, including the sole. The inserts in the shoe are basically memory foam which is a huge perk for working in a school. They are kind of a suede material, so Iβm not sure how well theyβll hold up if they got wet. I got a 5 & they fit kind of small, but also big? My toes were squished, but my heel was slipping out. Maybe that means they fit slim? Had I not tried & loved the next pair, I wouldβve been happy to keep these.
I saved the best for lastβ¦ these ones are my favs! Though the color is a little bit darker than I was wanting, I love the tan seam line near the sole & I really love the knitted texture of the shoe. Theyβre just really different than anything I have, but theyβll go perfectly with what I want to wear them with. I got a 5 & they fit really really well. I like these so much that Iβm tempted by the black color even though theyβre fairly pricey.
I saw this simple greenery tee from Walmart & knew I had to try it out with my staple green Old Navy cardigan & I love it just as much as I thought I would! I got a medium & it definitely fits small & also very sheer, just a heads up. It kind of feels like it could shrink so Iβd recommend sizing up one or even two sizes!
Hi, my name is Alli & I love neutrals!! Thereβs so much about this outfit that I love. From the button fly on the jeans, to the texture & colors of the sweater! Itβs super cozy & warm & fits true to size. Itβs a little bit cropped, so I went with a medium & it fits perfect for front-tucking. It comes in other colors, but I just had to get this one!
Iβm a big fan of classic quarter zips & this one is now at the top of my list! It says βfleece linedβ so I thought it was going to be really thick & warm, but itβs actually super thin which will be perfect for spring. It has cute little thumb holes on the cuff & pockets on each side as well. I got a medium & it fits true to size. Iβm totally eyeing the other color options now!
This outfit is going to be what my spring + summer consists of, I just know it!! Super comfy lounge sets + fanny packs! Does it get much better?! This set is from Amazon & it comes together. I got a medium & would say it fits slightly oversized, but the top is cropped. This fanny pack comes in a ton of other colors. I wanted the black muted camo but it wasnβt available so I got this plain black one instead. Itβs currently on sale for $20 & fits SO MUCH STUFF!!
My dad recently started the tradition of getting my sisters & I Valentineβs Day themed pajamas for Valentineβs Day β how cute is that! These are the ones from this year & theyβre just too cute not to share. I got a medium in both, they fit a bit oversized & the top is very cropped. Theyβre super soft & cozy!
Iβm obsessed with these planter baskets from Walmart! Iβm sure theyβll go fast so check them out!

I donβt have any plans this weekend besides church on Sunday with my family! I still havenβt figured out what Iβm doing for the super bowl yet. Itβs not as much fun to stay out late when youβre an adult & have work the next day! ;)
