Life Lately
what I've been up to...
My grandma, sister, Piper & I joined my parents in Missouri for Easter! Click here to read about the first half of our trip.
Once the weather cleared up on Saturday, we headed outside!
We went for a walk around Table Rock Lake — it was gorgeous!
On the menu for dinner: hot honey chicken bowls.
Followed by s’mores. My sister made a savory one: babybel cheese, salami, ritz, topped with hot honey. She loved it! I prefer mine with Reese’s.
Happy Easter!
Post-church punch, followed by lunch at the Mill & Canyon Grill Restaurant at Dogwood Canyon. We had the most delicious lemon blueberry cheesecake!
My ideal afternoon… I’m happiest in the sunshine!
We had to head back a little early so Piper could see our vet. She got quite the tummy bug & refused to eat for 48 hours, while having to go to the bathroom at least once every hour.
I stayed home with her on Tuesday since she was needing to go to the bathroom so frequently. She was also refusing meds which made things very difficult! It was a long day & an even longer night.
FINALLY she started eating again + being willing to take meds. By Thursday she was already improving so much, thank goodness!!
I have a nest being built in my front door wreath!
My sweet sleepy girl.
I got a massage this week from someone who specializes in migraines & tension headaches. I’m eager to see what differences I’ll notice!
Unwinding by catching up on a little trash TV (Secret Lives of Mormon Wives).
I won a free Zen Master / Alleviate IV hydration drip from my local med spa & cashed it in this week. I think I might be hooked!
BIG fan of this raspberry lemonade flavor!
On the bookshelf this week!
S’more appreciation for the best staff around!
I had to get some labs drawn one morning & we got it done in two pokes, which is a really big deal for me since I’m such a hard stick! Piper got to snuggle with my grandma during my appointment.
Piper got to come back to school on Friday since she’s finally feeling better. Both she & the students were thrilled!
I got to work triple jump at the high school track meet on Friday afternoon. Track meets make me so emotional!
Thankful for good weather!
outfits of the week...
I’ve started to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.
in case you missed it...
Since I share my OOTDs throughout the week in my “Life Lately” blog posts, I figured I could compile all of them throughout the month for simplicity’s sake! Here are all the outfits I wore in the month of March!
As you may have seen, I started a new weekly post where I share my Weekly Sale Finds! I’ve been sharing them daily on my Instagram stories & I figured I could compile all of them from the week into one post so that y’all can see them, too! You can click here to read that post.
If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, then you’ve probably noticed that I have really stepped up my game when it comes to collages of sales, outfit inspos & new items. Well, that is all thanks to my younger sisters, Bethany & Avery. They’re “poor college students” & my mom & I were looking for some extra help on the blog, so it just made sense to bring them on board! We’ll be compiling all of the collages into one post each week so that they’re all in one place & to give those who don’t use social media a place to find them! Check out their post by clicking here!
Next up is my Friday fashion favs post!! Click here to read that one. It’s a goodie if I do say so myself. ;)
