what I've been up to...
On the bookshelf this week!
On Saturday morning my parents picked Piper & I up for a little summer road trip to Texas!
During our first travel day, we stopped at a little restaraunt that also had a mini menu for dogs! Obviously I had to get Piper a burger patty. She was quite pleased. We also stopped & got the most delicious lemon blueberry shakes along the way. Our first night we stayed at a harvest host site out in the country. Piper had ZERO fear of these longhorn cattle or the rescue ponies.
We finally made it to the beach, only to be welcomed by tropical storm arthur. It was pretty crazy for a couple of days. We lost electricity & couldn’t hardly leave the camper because the wind & rain was so bad.
One of my absolute favorite parts of being on the beach is going for walks with Piper & seeing what little goodies we can find! I’m also a BIG seafood girlie, so enjoy some pics of the delicious meals + drinks we’ve had this past week.
This cooling mat has been an absolute game changer for Piper! I also tried this one, but it was just too big to travel with, even though I preferred it over the smaller one.
outfits of the week...
During the school year I did a pretty good job at consistently sharing my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet. However, because it’s summertime, sometimes I don’t even get dressed lol so I’ll share as much as I can, but it’s definitely not as big of a priority for me like during the school year.
