what I've been up to...
Starting our day with a morning walk, per usual!
That feeling you get when you’re done scheduling classes & can start the fun part of your job — being with students!!! Life of a school counselor 🤪 can’t wait until we have students in the building next week!!
On the bookshelf this week!
We went on a few therapy visits this week.
Evening project this week: fertilize the yard.
My go-to dinner this week:
sourdough toast, tomato & avocado slices, microgreens, turkey bacon, pickled onions, balsamic glaze
We love an empty dog park!
Got pulled over on the way home from one of our visits (my 60 day tag was flapping & he couldn’t read it. He just gave me a warning, thank goodness). He came to the passenger window & Piper was THRILLED! She did not know that stopping halfway home & meeting a stranger at her window was a thing! I think she will be expecting this from now on.
My office is really coming together & finally feeling like my home away from home again!
We knocked out Piper’s back-to-school appointments this week. We started with a trip to the chiropractor / acupuncturist & finished with a grooming appointment. Now she is fresh & ready to hang out with all of her favorite middle schoolers next week!
So honored to be nominated for this award from my alma mater. So sweet coming from a spot I love full well!
We are pooped after a long + busy week full of scheduling, trainings, meetings, etc. Thankful for a slow weekend before school starts next week!
outfits of the week...
During the school year I did a pretty good job at consistently sharing my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet. However, because it’s summertime, sometimes I don’t even get dressed lol so I’ll share as much as I can, but it’s definitely not as big of a priority for me like during the school year.
