Life Lately

what I've been up to...

Started off game day with mimosas!

My sister, Bethany, is the cutest & brought shoooooters.

The most precious old man all by himself at the game.

I can always count on my sister, Avery, to keep Piper happy while I’m in the game.

My house was 56 degrees on Sunday morning so I decided to stop being stubborn & turn the heater on. Piper is very happy about it — you can’t even hardly see the vent underneath her!

On the bookshelf this week!

Soaking in the sun on these warm fall days.

Catching up on my notes during 6th grade boys PE with my surprise Sonic vanilla diet dr pepper… it’s a good day!

On Monday night we had a therapy visit at a local library for their “teen night”. Piper was in her element! We love those weirdo adolescents.

November’s staff appreciation goodie for my coworkers are these worry stones! Super easy to keep in your pocket or desk. They are one of my favs for sure!

Piper absolutely did not want to wake up for school this week. I can relate.

First Wednesday church followed by our monthly sweet treat. 10/10 recommend Braum’s new holiday flavors. Peppermint was our overall fav!

Don’t let these big puppy dog eyes fool you, she loves our groomer! & I love when she comes back looking cute + smelling fresh!

Soup-er Fridays are back at school!!! Taco soup + sopapilla cheesecake on the menu this week. My coworkers are the best!

That Friday afternoon feeling:

The most beautiful drive on my way to a delicious dinner!

Piper & I had a therapy visit on Saturday morning at a local animal shelter. The kids were so sweet & I got to meet a follower which is always so cool!

Absolutely obsessed with the * finally * changing leaves on our morning walk.

A post-therapy-visit treat for each of us.

Followed by a slow evening watching some K-State basketball.

outfits of the week...

I’ve started to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

in case you missed it...

Since I share my OOTDs throughout the week in my “Life Lately” blog posts, I figured I could compile all of them throughout the month for simplicity’s sake! Here are all the outfits I wore in the month of October!

As you may have seen, I started a new weekly post where I share my Weekly Sale Finds! I’ve been sharing them daily on my Instagram stories & I figured I could compile all of them from the week into one post so that y’all can see them, too! You can click here to read that post.

If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, then you’ve probably noticed that I have really stepped up my game when it comes to collages of sales, outfit inspos & new items. Well, that is all thanks to my younger sisters, Bethany & Avery. They’re “poor college students” & my mom & I were looking for some extra help on the blog, so it just made sense to bring them on board! We’ll be compiling all of the collages into one post each week so that they’re all in one place & to give those who don’t use social media a place to find them! Check out their post by clicking here!

Next up is my Friday fashion favs post!! Click here to read that one. It’s a goodie if I do say so myself. ;)

I am focusing on my health & wellness during 2025 with LiveGood. If you’re interested in clean, healthy, AFFORDABLE products, i would be happy to share some info with you. There is a quick, easy & FREE health assessment (linked here) that will show you what products are best for your needs & goals. + some info on how to earn some extra $$ along the way (linked here).
& if you’re not ready to commit to anything yet, that’s ok! I’m thankful you’re here regardless. & I hope you stick around for cute clothes + my health journey!
