Prime Finds from February

Sharing all of the things my family ordered from Amazon in the month of February! It’s quite random & hodge podge, but that’s what Amazon’s for, right? ;) There are a few repeated items that we’ve bought in previous months, but it’s because they’re so good!!

sensodyne whitening toothpaste

I ran out of my toothpaste & had heard great things about this sensodyne whitening toothpaste so I figured now was a good time to try it. The price is awesome & I really liked the flavor — it’s like a very subtle mint that’s almost a little bit sweet. I haven’t used it long enough to know if it’s whitened my teeth at all, but I like it enough to keep using it!

Since the weather has been so nice lately, I’ve been going on lots of afternoon walks after school with my friend & her son. It is SO nice to get outside & have some girl time. I’ve seen these walking sneakers before & decided to try them out. Y’all they legit feel like you’re walking on a cloud! They’re BEYOND COMFORTABLE! Like I want to keep them on all the time! I thought the white was fun & different, even if it’s not the most practical choice lol. My sisters loved them so much, they bought a pair too!

ring doorbell

My parents have had ring doorbell since October & they’ve loved it! Especially the notifications you get when you aren’t home letting you know that there’s motion at your front door. I live by myself & just as a safety precaution, I decided to get it for myself as well. One thing that’s been really handy is I can see when my packages are delivered & make sure that they’re still there + safe until I get home to bring them inside. My house doesn’t have a space for a doorbell, so I had to buy the version with the chime which I’ll link here. I know that it’s kind of pricey, but the security of feeling safe is SO worth it to me!

floral dress

With spring approaching & Easter coming up, I decided to start looking for some dresses. I found this one & thought it was so pretty! The material is really nice & it has a black slip underneath so you don’t have to wear another one. I like that the floral pattern can be worn in the spring time, or even in the fall with a cardigan or denim jacket. The flowy sleeves + the subtle frill lining on the waist makes this dress look so sweet & feminine. The neckline v wasn’t too deep for me which I appreciated! I’m wearing a small & would say it fits true to size. I love that it can so easily be dressed up or down!

window locks

After moving into the new house that I'm renting, I discovered that one of my windows doesn't lock. As a young woman who lives alone, this bothered me a bit so I quickly bought these little window lock reinforcements & had my Dad install them when he came to visit. It was super easy & very cheap & I feel much safer! For some reason when I bought them in December, I wasn’t thinking straight & didn’t buy enough for all of my windows. For the purposes of feeling extra safe, I thought why not. So I bought enough so that every window in my house has one of these locks on them.

I bought these two vases last month & my Mom loved them so much that we got them for her for Valentine’s Day! They're such good quality for the price & I'm highly impressed!

This is the faux eucalyptus greenery that I bought to go in the vases. I unfortunately do not have a green thumb like the rest of my family members so I have to make things work. But I absolutely love how this turned out! It's exactly what I pictured!

leather backpack

My sister got this CUTE leather backpack. She typically carries a bag with her to keep her inhaler close & she was wanting something a little bit nicer. This is the perfect solution! The size is great to use as a purse, but you could definitely throw a notebook in too. Very spacious & the cognac color is so trendy right now! It comes with a cute colorful reversible strap that gives it some extra flare.

gimme beauty hair ties dupe

I’m pretty picky when it comes to my hair ties. I want them to keep my hair in place, but not pull or feel uncomfortable. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the gimme beauty hair ties, but honestly didn’t feel like spending that much money on ponytails lol just the honest truth. My Mom heard of these dupes on Amazon & we thought they were worth trying because the price for the quantity is pretty dang good (you get 50 for $7)!! Y’all they are BOMB. My test for hair ties to see how good they are is to sleep with my hair in a bun on the top of my head. When I wake up, if they’ve fallen out or whatever, then I know they won’t hold super well. With these, I kid you not, my hair looked the exact same when I woke up in the morning — that’s how well they stayed! They’re really gentle & don’t pull AT ALL which I love! These are now my go-to’s!

tiktok famous mascara

My sister saw this mascara on tiktok & it had amazing reviews! She said it gives really great length, but doesn’t offer a ton of volume. She didn’t have to use hardly any product which was really nice! Plus, it’s less than $10!

workout shirt

Picking out clothes that match the weather in the spring time can be kind of hard, especially when you know you’re going to be outside — it’s just kind of unpredictable! I saw another blogger share this top & wanted to try it myself. It’s a super thin & flowy material, but it’s very soft & light. It’s pretty billowy & wide — I’d recommend sizing down if you cant. The neckline is a boat-neck which shows off the straps of your cute sports bra. I like that the coloring is subtle & can be worn with colored leggings, or whatever you choose.

remington hair straightener

The straightener that I’ve owned for years & years finally pooped out on me. I wanted to find one that would be good quality, but wouldn’t cost me an arm & a leg, so I did some research. This remington hair straightener had a ton of great reviews & was a good price, so I ordered it. It’s been perfect for me! I like that it has the option to adjust the temperature so you’re not frying your hair. Plus, the color is pretty dang cute!

Absolutely on board with these banana hair clips that are coming back into style! This hairstyle is so fun & easy & feels a bit more “dressy” than just a regular ponytail which is part of what I love about them. Plus, they give so much volume which I also love! I got this set of four & love the variety of color options. I legit wear one of these clips almost every single day! I don’t have to touch up my hair at all when I use these. They save me SO much time!

Spring & summer means shorts! I don’t always like wearing denim shorts, so I’m on the hunt for some cute flowy ones that will be comfy & cute at the same time. These ones are so up my alley because they’re super comfy & flattering & cute all at the same time! They have nice deep pockets, and an elastic waistline. They come in a few other colors, but I loved this green & they match the top I paired with it perfectly! You can see a picture of that outfit below.

bleacher seat

My Mom picked this up because she was spending a lot of time in gyms & was starting to get bleacher butt lol she likes it because it works for the bleachers that already have a back on them. The cushion itself is not very thick, but it does the trick!

grey sweatshorts

Who doesn’t love comfy lounge shorts? These honestly feel like soft fuzzy sweats, but in shorts! I LOVE them! They have nice deep pockets & an adjustable waist. The best part is that they come in a ton of other colors & are only $15!!! Run & get these lol.

I’ll be completely honest & transparent with this one lol this was 100% a quarantine purchase. I was so bored & lonely with just my cat for a week & a half & I felt like we both needed a pick-me-up. In my defense, she actually loves this toy!

eucalyptus garland

For Christmas, my Mom had a beautiful pine & holly garland on their faux fireplace & when she took it down, it looked so bare to her. She wanted to replace it with something that would work for spring & summer. She checked Hobby Lobby & Target but just couldn't find anything she was looking for. Amazon to the rescue! She is so impressed with the quality of this eucalyptus garland, especially for the price!

comforter set

My bedroom is one of my sacred spaces in my house. When I enter, I want to feel calm & relaxed & totally zen. I like for things to be picked up & for everything to have a space. I’ve been really into neutrals & kind of boho chic / farmhouse / whatever-you-call-it styles lately. I totally revamped my room by adding new throw pillows, a lamp, comforter & wall hanging & I’m truly obsessed! It’s everything I wanted it to be!

cetaphil moisturizer

I had a little sample of this moisturizer & had been testing it out for the last month or so. My sample ran out so I started using my other moisturizers, but my face was SO dry! I finally ordered this bottle because I knew it was the only thing that was working for my face right now. I don't really struggle with redness, but I just really like how silky smooth this stuff is & how hydrated it makes my face feel. I recommended this to my sister who really struggles with dryness & she loves it, too!
