April Top Ten

I saw another blogger do this & I thought it was such a good idea! Here are the top ten things y'all loved the most from April!

I get questions about these heels every time I wear them so I figured I should share them again! I got them last spring for my masters graduation ceremony, so I’ve had them for almost a year. I love the wavy detailing because it makes them so unique. The heel isn’t too tall, but it’s also enough that I actually feel like I’m wearing something. They’re SO comfy & feel great on my feet! I’ve worn them SO many times throughout the year & am always surprised by how great my feet feel when I take them off. I would say they run a little bit small. They have a bunch of other color options that I’ll definitely take advantage of if I ever need them. They’re super affordable too which I love. It doesn’t get any better than these!

Who doesn’t love a good midi t-shirt dress?! This one is from Target & it is WONDERFUL! It’s a super comfy & soft cotton-y material that will be perfect for spring & summer. It comes in a bunch of other colors, but I love this classic white. I wore a white bra with it & you could just barely see the outline, so it’s not see through. I’m wearing a small & would say it fits a little oversized as far as the width. I don’t mind it because I like my dresses to be loose & flowy!

This tank top t-shirt dress is all kinds of wonderful. It has pockets & a high neckline & (regardless of the wrinkles) is actually pretty flattering! It comes in a few other color options, but I thought this bright yellowy-orange was super cute for spring & summer. I’m wearing a small & would say it fits true to size.

I’ve had my eyes on these sandals since last summer, but they’ve been out of stock in my size… until now! They are super duper comfy & fit true to size. I wish they had more color options available besides just yellow, but yellow could be super cute for spring & summer! I have been wearing them so much already!!

I wore this dress to church for Easter Sunday! It was pretty chilly so I threw on a denim jacket but it still worked great! I absolutely loved the bright pink color & realized I need to add more color to my closet!

Since I work in a school & have summers off, I pretty much spend my entire summer in shorts! These shorts are fabulous & come in several color options. They’re thin & airy so they’re perfect for summer. They have a cute detailing on the sides & fit a little bit small. This loose & drapey long-sleeved workout top is wonderful. It’s thin & airy & covers my bottom in leggings. It’s super oversized, I’m wearing a small here & would say it fits more like a medium.

I got this watch band for Christmas & I (as well as a bunch of y’all) have been obsessed with it ever since I got it! It’s fabulous quality & fits perfectly. I’m sharing a bunch of random pics of it.

I’m pretty sure I found the sandals I’m going to be wearing ALL SUMMER LONG!!! These super simple two strap sandals are so beyond comfy & effortless. They are just as comfy (if not more) than rubber Birkenstocks & I feel like they can be easily dressed up as well which is a perk that rubber Birkenstocks don’t have. This is the chestnut color & I love it! They come in a ton of other brown shades as well & I’m totally eyeing the black color. I know I’ll wear these all the time when I’m working at the sno cone shack!

I almost didn’t get this one for two reasons: one) I thought it was a little too much, & two) I didn’t think it would look good on my body. Wowza was I wrong! Not to toot my own horn, but I think it’s incredibly flattering!!! I absolutely love the bright color & the eyelet details on the sleeves. Between the flutter of the sleeves & the cinched / tied waistline, it is so slimming! I’m wearing a small & would say it fits true to size.

If you’ve been around here this whole school year, then you know that in August I became kind of obsessed with skorts. Skorts are a really big deal in the school I work at — pretty much every single female staff member wears them! I have searched sooo long to find a good quality skort that I felt comfortable in & that fits me well. Last year I bought a black one & wore it almost every week, especially on game days! I saw that Target came out with this year’s version of the skort I love, so you know I had to buy it. & now I’m going to have to get it in every color because I love it so much! I’m wearing a small & would say it fits a tiny bit oversized — I usually wear a medium in most bottoms & this small fits me perfectly. It has deep pockets as well as built-in spandex shorts. My school has three flights of stairs so I’m constantly going up & down & really would like to avoid flashing my students lol so this aspect of the skort helps me to feel secure & covered!
