Banana + Oats Cookie Recipe

One of my good friends (I'm talkin' about you, Hannah girl!!) is a total health nut & she's got some great staple recipes that are healthy (or at least a healthier option) + delicious! These banana + oats cookies are SO good & the recipe is so simple + you can add whatever you like to make it completely your own. I'll post the recipe & directions below:

For every one banana, use 1/2 cup of oats. Mix it all up & add more oats depending on the consistency of the mixture / size of your banana(s). That's it. That's the foundation! Then you can add in whatever you want!

Some examples of things that are really yummy to add:

  • cinnamon

  • vanilla

  • chocolate chips

  • maple syrup

  • honey

  • peanut butter

  • cocoa powder

  • walnuts

  • chia seeds

Once everything is mixed in, spray a cookie sheet & create your cookie shapes. My friend uses an ice cream scoop to get the right amount & then uses the back of the ice cream scoop to flatten the cookie (they don't change shape in the oven). I didn't have an ice cream scoop when I made the cookies (however I have one on the way right now thanks to Amazon ;) ), so I just used a spoon & my hands. Once you've got your cookies on the cookie sheet, bake them at 350 degrees for 18ish minutes.

That's it! Literally so sinkin' easy + yummy!! I hope you love them & feel as good enjoying them as I do!
