what I've been up to...
We had the best afternoon at the local winery celebrating some of the moms in our family. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!

Welp ladies it’s really happening. I had a follow up foot appt this week. We did more x-rays. Dr scheduled me for surgery later this month to shave off the displaced fracture & reattach my tendons properly. I will be in a splint for 3 weeks & then moved to a boot for 5. Non weight bearing for the entire 8 weeks, so crutches or a scooter will be my bff. This means things will look a bit different on this corner of the internet while I’m recovering. I’m pretty sad that I have to give up my summer for this dang foot again. There’s a lot of things I was excited about that I’ll be missing out on, so I honestly feel like I’m grieving a little bit right now. Prayers for peace & comfort are appreciated…
My sisters & I got together on Wednesday evening to have dinner & make a secret surprise poster for our brother’s graduation this weekend!

8.5 years ago I finally convinced my brother to join me at K-State. Yesterday he graduated!
He was very surprised by our poster & he loved looking through all the pictures we included. He was also a tad embarrassed lol but that’s a sister’s job, right?
