Life Lately

what I've been up to...

My sunrise walks with Piper look a little bit different now that we’re back in Kansas…

These stairs have been a game changer for Piper! I want to protect her little body in any way I can & want her to feel as good as she can, as long as possible (especially after her double knee surgery in the spring of 2024.

I had therapy this week. Still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself!

We were nine minutes into welcoming duty on Monday morning when Piper left the hallway to go lay down lol the first week back from Christmas break is RUFF!

I helped judge our middle school spelling bee this week. I always love this day because you get to witness so much bravery!

I also had a dr appointment this week & it went so well! All of the different things we’ve been trying are finally paying off. I’m feeling better & my labs are showing it! Ladies, if you feel like something’s not right, listen to your body, trust your gut & advocate for yourself!

I fell in love with sunset walks during our beach trip, so I’m going to try to make them more of a consistent priority.

Indoor recess is a special kind of torture. IYKYK!

Ended my week working book for JV boys basketball on Friday night.

& woke up to a little bit of snow on Saturday morning — my fav!

Love my snuggly girl!

outfits of the week...

I’ve started to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.

in case you missed it...

Since I share my OOTDs throughout the week in my “Life Lately” blog posts, I figured I could compile all of them throughout the month for simplicity’s sake! Click here to read the post of all the outfits I wore in the month of December!

If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, then you’ve probably noticed that I have really stepped up my game when it comes to collages of sales, outfit inspos & new items. Well, that is all thanks to my younger sisters, Bethany & Avery. They’re “poor college students” & my mom & I were looking for some extra help on the blog, so it just made sense to bring them on board! We’ll be compiling all of the collages into one post each month so that they’re all in one place & to give those who don’t use social media a place to find them! Check out their post by clicking here!

As many of you know, this fall my parents sold their home & are now living in a camper full time. We decided to use this to our advantage for Christmas break & do some traveling together. I finally went through everything & created a blog post recapping our amazing trip (linking as much as I could)! To check out that post, click here!
