Life Lately
what I've been up to...
Piper & I had a therapy visit early in the week at an elementary school for one of their book fair nights.
The weather was SO beautiful this past week! Piper & I went for lots of after school walks with my sister & her boyfriend’s dog, Dixie.
On the bookshelf this week!
Celebrating my great grandma’s heavenly birthday with a sweet treat! Her motto was “there’s always room for dessert”.
I am sooo ready for spring to FINALLY be here!!! Manifesting spring weather with pink nails.
Full circle moment inviting my sister to our middle school career fair! Piper was very patient & waited her turn for demonstration.
That post-massage bliss >
I have received a couple large drawings / paintings of Piper from students over the years, so I reached out to some of the high school woods boys & asked if they could make me some custom frames. They finished & delivered them this week & they look AMAZING!
Lessons from Piper: always look for the sunny spots.
outfits of the week...
I’ve started to consistently share my OOTD (outfit of the day) just for fun! I’m typically able to link most pieces, but I also just share it to hopefully give a bit of inspiration & show you that you can recreate my outfits by just using pieces from your own closet.
in case you missed it...
January on the road was one for the books. My parents spent the first half of the month parked by a beautiful lake in Texas, soaking up peaceful views, slower mornings, & a little sunshine while living & working full-time from our camper. It felt like the sweetest reset. Then they traded lake days for REAL winter as we spent the rest of the month in Kansas… & let’s just say the frigid temps were no joke! From sunshine to subzero, January kept them on their toes — & reminded them that this camper life is always an adventure. To read more about their January recap, click here.
January’s Prime Finds were so good! From cozy winter staples to little everyday upgrades that made life easier, this month’s Amazon orders did not disappoint. I’m also starting to grab a few pieces that will make transitioning into spring so easy — think lighter layers & versatile staples you can wear now & later. I rounded up everything we loved (& actually used on repeat!) in one easy spot for you. If you’re all about practical finds with a side of comfy & cute, this post is for you.
As you may have seen, I started a new weekly post where I share my Weekly Sale Finds! I’ve been sharing them daily on my Instagram stories & I figured I could compile all of them from the week into one post so that y’all can see them, too! You can click here to read that post.
If you follow me on Instagram or LTK, then you’ve probably noticed that I have really stepped up my game when it comes to collages of sales, outfit inspos & new items. Well, that is all thanks to my younger sisters, Bethany & Avery. They’re “poor college students” & my mom & I were looking for some extra help on the blog, so it just made sense to bring them on board! We’ll be compiling all of the collages into one post each week so that they’re all in one place & to give those who don’t use social media a place to find them! Check out their post by clicking here!
Next up is my Friday fashion favs post!! Click here to read that one. It’s a goodie if I do say so myself. ;)
