what I've been up to...
My sister got baptised on Sunday & it was such a joy to get to witness it together!
On the bookshelf this week!
The English teachers in my building are doing a battle of the books challenge. Students form groups of four & read four books together. I formed a group with some of the non-ELA teachers & we are competing against the kids!
Piper literally LOVES my dad. Always wants to be close to him or watching what he’s doing. As you can see, she’s a great little helper! ;)

The stomach flu absolutely kicked my butt on Monday & Tuesday of this week! By Wednesday I started feeling better, but still wasn’t fully 100%.
28 years ago, my dad agreed to raise me as his own. & what a beautiful story it has turned out to be! Happy belated Allidoption Day to us!

My Oura Ring knew I was sick with the stomach flu before I did. Sounds crazy, but it’s true! There are so many features to this Oura Ring that help me step up my health + wellness game! It tracks my steps, heart rate, sleep, respiratory rate, body temperature & beyond! I was hesitant to make the big purchase, but I’m SO glad I did!
I really don’t like getting up & ready in the dark in the mornings, but these golden hour evening walks sure are a plus.
